Booking Conditions
When confirming/submitting your reservation, you automatically agree to the following conditions:

With the confirmation of your reservation, you enter into a contractual agreement with Sicily Tourism Srl.

Your reservation will be handled on a automated first come, first served basis. There is a small chance that the house of your choice is not available during the period you wish to stay. In this case you will be immediately contacted by telephone or email.

The rental charge includes:
- the rental of the house
- the use of water, gas and electricity
- bed sheets, blankets and tea towels (you must bring your own bath towels)
- the cleaning of the house at the end of your stay
Towling for personal use is not included in the price.
Heating in the winter period is not included in the price.

Your reservation will be confirmed via email. This email will contain your confirmation, invoice and a detailed route description to a meeting place where one of our assistants will then lead you to your holiday home. The confirmation/invoice email also includes instructions on how to make the payment. If appropriate, the confirmation/invoice email will also contain the rental car voucher.

We can welcome you at the holiday house between 16.00 and 22.00 hours. Departure is by 11.00 hours at the latest.

If your arrival is unexpectedly delayed (by traffic jams, strikes etc.) you are asked to inform us as soon as possible. You will find our contact details on the confirmation/invoice email.

Within 10 days of you receiving the written confirmation you are asked to transfer 30% of the total cost to us.
The remaining 70% is to be paid at the latest 8 weeks prior to your arrival.
If you make a booking within 8 weeks of your arrival, you will be asked to pay the full amount once having received the written confirmation.
Payments can be made by bank transfer or online by credit card. Please note that we levy a charge of 4% on credit card payments to cover our cost.

If you, having received the contract, have to unexpectedly cancel your holiday, then the following rules apply:
- if a cancellation occurs up to 90 days before the start of the rental period, then 15% of the total cost will be charged;
- if a cancellation occurs up to 30 days before the start of the rental period, then 60% of the total cost will be charged;
- if a cancellation occurs up to 14 days before the start of the rental period, then 90% of the total cost will be charged;
- If a cancellation occurs in the last 7 days before the start of the rental period, then 100% of the total cost will be charged.
We advise you that at the same time as making a booking you take out a cancellation insurance. This will cover any costs if the cancellation is due to sickness, accident etc.

In the case of any problem or complaint it is imperative that the client informs Sicily Tourism by phone at the earliest opportunity, in order that SicilyTourism has the opportunity to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Sicily Tourism will try to resolve the problem immediately and will send the client an email that details both the original complaint and what action was taken to resolve it.
- If the client disagrees with the content of the email or wishes to pursue the complaint further, the client must notify Sicily Tourism within 10 days of the end of the service provided.
- Similarly, any complaint, which cannot be resolved locally, must be notified in writing to Sicily Tourism within in 10 days of the end of the service provided.
- If the client fails to follow this procedure this may hinder Sicily Tourism's ability to rectify the complaint and reduce or resolve any claim that the client may have.
