Fondo Arancia takes its name from the orange grove in which this large villa is situated. It's a perfect spot: in the middle of the beautiful valley of the Alcantara river; 5 minutes from the village of Francavilla di Sicilia; only 15 minutes from the coast and easily accessible from the provincial road.
Walking through the orchard it's just a few steps to the small river which in thousands of years has carved its way through the hard lava rock.
The voluminous farmhouse was built around 1900 and completely restored in 1994.
The driveway leads to the characteristic Sicilian front door behind which is the ample salon and dining room. Also the kitchen is well equipped and spacious enough enough for a whole family or group of friends.
In total, this mansion offers over 300m2 of living space over two floors, both of them with terra cotta tile flooring.Bedrooms are spacious: on the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms for 4 persons and a bathroom. The other 3 bedrooms are on the first floor of the villa. Two of them have direct access to the enormous terrace. Upstairs there are 2 more bathrooms.
In a depandance in front of the villa lives the caretaker and her husband who use the entrance gate and the path that leads to the house. They respect your privacy to a great extent.
