Gelsomino
On top of a hill in the centre of the Alcantara Valley lies a spacious villa in which two pretty apartments are realized: Gelsomino and Girasole.
The location of the house is absolutely fantastic, quiet and with unsurpassed views over the valley and the Ionian Sea, which sparkles in the distance about 6 kilometers away. 360 ° panorama; to the other side, the end of the valley where the sun sets in the evening. Each apartment has its own private terrace and a private entrance, but they can also be rented together for larger groups.
Each apartment has 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Both apartments are equipped with a complete, well-equipped kitchen, a sitting / dining room with sofa and TV and the lovely terrace with a spectacular view over the valley to the Ionian Sea.
Gelsemio and Girasole share a large SWIMMING POOL of 10x5 meters, delicious in the summer months. The pool is surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and the Sicilian rolling hills. May be the neighbors horses even come say hello while you're floating on your airmatrass in the pool...
The nearest village for shopping is a 5-minute drive and within walking distance there's a typical Sicilian restaurant, a so-called 'agritursimo', which is open daily for a honest Sicilian lunch or dinner.
OIf course there's electricity, hot and cold running clean drinking water and gas for cooking. There's also a washing machine. You only have to bring towels for personal use.
